Learn the basics of precision carving and casting.
Signet rings (used historically for wax seals) have symbolized identity for thousands of years, from Ancient Egypt to medieval times. In this three-day immersive workshop, you’ll carve your own custom signet ring from a solid wax tube and transform it into sterling silver using a centrifuge.
Date and Time: Fri-Sun, July 10th-12th, from 10–6pm, with an hour break for lunch.
*Carving the basic shape of a signet ring is often the FIRST step in creating a more detailed ring. This class is designed for jewelers looking to hone their skills in precision wax carving and ring making.
